In early 2011 Valerie will add music to her interview schedule. This show will provide independent singer / songwriter / musicians a place to talk about their work, play their songs and promote their venues. Every independent musical artist today must be a self-promoting, business-wise entrepreneur to gain a wide audience. Valerie’s focus for this show is to spotlight the original music of the many talented musicians now in the music marketplace. As an ASCAP songwriter / composer since 1988 and seasoned performing artist herself, Valerie knows the hurdles every musician faces while trying to carve out their own niche in the enormous music marketplace.
